Getting it out of Google Contacts
People
- 1Open contacts.google.com.
- 2Tick the contacts to bring, or choose a label on the left.
- 3Click Export (the arrow at the top), choose Google CSV, then Export.
Then import the file in Millstone. It recognises a Google Contacts export and shows you every row before anything goes in.
What stays behind
Google Contacts's own lists rarely match a studio's, so they are left out unless yours do.
- The first email, phone and organisation of each contact come across.

Or let your assistant move it
With Claude or ChatGPT connected over MCP.
“I am moving my studio from Google Contacts. Walk me through bringing it into Millstone.”
It asks what you use, tells you how to export it, then stages, maps and previews the file. Nothing goes in until you say yes. Importing needs a Full access key.
