Assistants

Tested with these. Any MCP client can connect.

  • Claude

Add Millstone as a connector, sign in and approve. Works in Claude on the web, desktop and phone.

  • ChatGPT

Add Millstone as a connector, sign in and approve, and ask it about the studio in any chat.

  • Cursor and Claude Code

Paste one key from your settings, for the people in the studio who already work there.

  • Any MCP client

Millstone speaks MCP, the open standard, so an assistant that supports it can connect.

Recipes

Leave no stone unturned. One sentence, across Millstone and another tool your assistant is connected to, each run on our own studio.

  • Google Calendar and Millstone

Turn last week's calendar into time

“Go through my calendar for last week, match each client call to its project in Millstone, and tell me which have no time logged.”

When we ran it: Matched every work call to the right project, left the personal events out, and found one client call with no time against it.

  • Gmail and Millstone

Check what you invoiced by email

“Find the invoices I emailed this month and check each one against Millstone.”

When we ran it: Found an invoice sent by email whose copy in Millstone was still an unnumbered draft, so the inbox and the books disagreed.

  • Gmail and Millstone

Find who is missing from your contacts

“Who has emailed me about client work this month who is not in Millstone yet?”

When we ran it: Found a client's assistant writing in about a live project: named in a task, but with no contact record of their own.

Questions

Does it cost extra?
No. Every plan includes it, and there is no agent tier.
Which assistants work?
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code are tested. Any assistant that supports MCP, the open standard, can connect.
Will it change things without asking?
Your assistant asks you before anything that writes. Sending, issuing and publishing need a Full access key, and its own suggestions wait in an inbox in Millstone for you to approve.
Whose studio does it see?
Yours, as you. It reaches what your own account can, in one studio at a time, and says which.

Bring the assistant you already have

Every plan includes this. There is no agent tier, and no bundled chatbot to be loyal to.
